Lesson Length: 90 minutes, plus group activities & partner work
Cost: $350 - deposit is $175 to secure your space. Remaining $175 is due on or before the clinic date. Deposit is non-refundable unless we can fill your space.

Cadence Creek Equine will be hosting a Horsemanship Clinic with Chris Irwin once again this Spring. Chris has worked with many people from brand new beginners to International Show Jumpers and everyone in between. All levels of riders are welcome, all types of horses are accepted. **Please note: if you have a problem horse you would like to work with, Chris requires these horses to be booked into semi or private lessons. Please contact Caitlin to discuss this.
  • There will be two, 2-day clinics. For participants who have already ridden and worked with Chris, they will be working on March 8th and 9th. For new participants, we will be assigning times on March 10th and 11th. We can accomodate a maximum of 16 participants in each of the 2 day clinics.
  • The groups will be broken down into four groups of four. You should expect to be involved in the clinic for approximately 3 hours each day.
  •  All Registrants are given a spectator pass for the 4 days of the clinic.
  • Stabling is available for $25 per two nights at Cadence Creek. Shavings & Water are provided. Bring your own feed.
  • All participants will be required to sign a waiver upon arrival and fill out an emergency contact form for the horse they will be stabling on property
  • We welcome cameras & recording devices for you to remember and re-visit your lesson

Evening Demonstration - March 9th, 2012

Time: 7:00pm to 10:00pm
Tickets: $25 (sold in advance or at the door)
On Friday March 9th, Chris will be providing an evening Horsemanship demonstration. (showcasing an Arabian or Part-Arabian!) You love your horse, but does your horse really love you? Chris will examine the psychology, physiology and geometry of the horse to bring greater awareness to their human handlers. A combination of ground work and riding will be showcased in this demonstration. This is a great demonstration for horse enthusiasts of all disciplines, levels and breed preferences.
Have a horse you think might just be the perfect candidate for the demonstration? One you have had some questions on, just can't quite get the performance you want? We are accepting "applications" for the perfect, "not so perfect" demo horse! Contact Caitlin for details and discuss this possiblity. We are ideally looking for an Arabian or Part Bred Arabian.
